# AI governance, evaluation, and security references

Checked September 30, 2026. This selected reference index distinguishes standards, voluntary frameworks, vendor guidance, and law. It records current issuer information for career research; it is not a certificate, conformity assessment, or complete inventory of requirements for every role.

## Coursework and research scope

Completed coursework covers Microsoft MCRA/MCSB and Zero Trust security design, OWASP Top 10 web-application security, the EU Cyber Resilience Act, secure software development, supply-chain security, and conversational AI ethics and compliance. The reference research below extends that reading into AI risk management, evaluation, disclosure, and organizational governance. A current edition listed here does not establish that it was the edition taught in a completed course.

## Application and revision notes

The ISO entries identify catalog status and scope. The review did not examine every full standard text. Standards that require paid access remain issuer-linked references; no unofficial copies are supplied.

NIST AI RMF 1.0 is the published framework while revision work continues. NIST SSDF 1.1 is final; the checked 1.2 page remains an initial public draft. MCSB v2 is preview. These statuses should be rechecked before a project adopts an edition.

The EU AI Act and Cyber Resilience Act have phased obligations. The appropriate requirements depend on the system, actor, geography, and relevant exceptions. Use the current official implementation sources when making an applicability decision: [AI Act](https://digital-strategy.ec.europa.eu/en/policies/regulatory-framework-ai), [CRA reporting](https://digital-strategy.ec.europa.eu/en/policies/cra-reporting), [CRA implementation](https://digital-strategy.ec.europa.eu/en/factpages/cyber-resilience-act-implementation). GDPR scope likewise depends on the processing and territorial conditions.
